About

Medicaid Summit

America’s Essential Hospitals invites you to our annual Medicaid Summit on September 20 – 21.

The Biden administration has signaled an interest in taking the Medicaid program in new directions. Access and equity are two key drivers of the new administration’s approach to the program. These and other pressing Medicaid issues will be examined during our virtual Medicaid Summit.

Join fellow essential hospital leaders to connect at this two-day virtual summit through Medicaid public policy and finance sessions — a balance between the political and operational aspects of Medicaid in 2021.

The summit also features general sessions on timely developments in public policy and hospital finance. Keynote speaker and national Medicaid expert Barbara Eyman, JD, will start the summit with an overview of national and state-specific trends in Medicaid payment innovation and the implications for essential hospitals.
