About

Medicaid Summit

Essential hospital leaders convened virtually for this two-day event, which explored Medicaid policy and finance and examine challenges — now and on the horizon — for the program, including the COVID-19 pandemic and proposed Medicaid Fiscal Accountability Regulation.

This year’s summit, Oct. 5 and 6, returned with a public policy track, as well as a special track for essential hospital finance leaders that focused on operational aspects of Medicaid financing.

The summit also featured general sessions on timely developments in both public policy and hospital finance, with keynotes by Calder Lynch, deputy administrator and acting chief of staff for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and national expert Barbara Eyman, JD.
