Prior to joining BMCHS, Dehner was managing principal of Health Management Associates’ Boston office. From 2003 to 2010, he worked for the state Medicaid agency in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and in 2007, Dehner was appointed Medicaid director, overseeing a health insurance program that covered 1.1 million members, with a $9 billion budget.
