Barbara Eyman, JD

Eyman is the long-serving Washington counsel to America’s Essential Hospitals, advocating before Congress and federal agencies, developing legislation, regulations and other policy proposals and positions to achieve the association’s advocacy goals. In addition to her work with the association, Eyman represents hospitals and health systems, academic medical centers, physician group practices, trade associations, states, and other clients on health care law and policy matters. Her practice focuses on Medicaid, Medicare, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, 340B and other programs of importance to essential hospitals.

Eyman is the founding partner of Eyman Partners, a boutique law firm providing a mix of legal, strategic, and policy advice to health industry leaders to help achieve their organization’s mission.
